Corning liquid handling products

In addition, customers can now request a certificate of quality for any Corning® or Costar® liquid handling product. This certificate details information about ingredients, sterility tests, and pyrogen tests.

Most Corning and Costar liquid handling products are certified non-pyrogenic with documented endotoxin levels at or below 0.1 EU/mL. Endotoxins have been shown to induce variability in cell culture. Non-pyrogenic certification is another way Corning helps ensure consistent cell culture results. Corning also provides a detailed technical bulletin on the effects of endotoxins in cell culture.
